Royal Fresh Cuts operates in a SQF Level 2 approved facility assuring the safest and freshest cut fruits and vegetables available. Fresh cut offerings present healthful options for students along with preparation and serving solutions for cafeteria staff. Nutritious choices include individually wrapped fruit and vegetable ½ cup servings that can be used as a grab and go option, cubed fruit including pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon, and other traditional items like celery and carrot sticks, chopped collards, and salad blends. Royal Fresh Cuts processes many of the unusual fruit and vegetables offered through the FFVP program. The FFVP program introduces students to a range of produce that they normally would not have the opportunity to try, which expands their choices and encourage healthy choices as they grow into adults.
